Best of The Streets of San Francisco was aired on ABC from September 16, 1972 until June 9, 1977. A television police drama were produces by Quinn Martin Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series was filmed in San Francisco California starring Karl Malden as Mike Stone who is a former detective and Michael Douglas as Steve Keller who is a college graduate in a workingman's SFPD.

It tells the story of two homicide detectives who investigate in the city by the bay. They cruise the street of San Francisco to solve crimes.
