Riptide DVD
Riptide was launched on the 3rd of January 1984 and lasted on the 18th of April 1986. It was a detective television series created by Stephen Cannell and Frank Lupo. The series has three seasons with fifty-eight episodes and starred by Perry King and Joe Penny as Cody Allen and Nick Ryder respectively.
Cody and Allen are two former army partners who opened their own detective agency known as Pier 56 Detective Agency but later became as Riptide Detective Agency. The need of computers and technology made them recruit Murray Bozinxky portrayed by Thom Bray whom they met from their military life as he was a computer hacker and inept scientist. They operated at Cody's boat known as the Riptide moored at Pier 56 in King Harbor, California.
