M.A.S.K. DVD

M.A.S.K., short for Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, was an animated television series produced as medium for toyline merchandising during the 1980's. It was widely considered as a hybrid of popular cartoons G.I. Joe and The Transformers. The show featured M.A.S.K. as a task force with transforming vehicles whose purpose is to stop the criminal organization named V.E.N.O.M., Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem. Aside from their transforming vehicles, super powered helmets called masks were also worn by both forces.

M.A.S.K. premiered September 16, 1985 and lasted November 28, 1986. It was produced by DIC Enterprises, Inc and created by Japanese studios Studio World, KK C&D Asia and Ashi Production.
