Night Gallery DVD
Night Gallery was a dark fantasy-horror anthology series hosted by Rod Serling. In each episode, Serling would appear in an old museum and introduce a story by presenting to the viewers a painting that depicts the story. Adaptations of classic short stories written by H.P. Lovecraft, Conrad Aiken, Fritz Leiber, Christianna, etc. were presented aside from the original works of Rob Serling. Some notable peronalities who starred in the show includes Dianne Keaton, Adam West, Joan Crawford and Leslie Nielsen.
Night Gallery aired from December 16, 1970 to May 27, 1973 on NBC for a total of 98 story segments in 43 episodes (3 seasons). The paintings unvelived before every segment were all created by artist Tom Wright. Night Gallery is Rod Serling's follow up to popular 1960's television anthology series, Twilight Zone.
