The Best of Petticoat Junction DVD
Petticoat Junction was debuted on the 24th of September 1963 and ended on the 4th of April 1970. It has seven (7) seasons with 222 episodes. The series was set in a rural town of Hooterville. It followed the happenings at the Shady Rest Hotel.
Shady Rest Hotel can only be reach by using the old train, Hooterville Cannonball and ran by an expert cook Kate Bradley played by Bea Benaderet. Kate had three daughters Billie Jo, the eldest and the boy-crazy daughter of Kate, Bobbie Jo the brainy, and Betty Jo the tomboy. Joining them was Uncle Joe Carson who lived at the hotel and fancied to be the hotel's General Manager but when work was to be done he always find ways to get out of it.
Other characters joining them was Charlie and Floyd, the engineer and conductor of the train Cannonball. Sam Drucker who ran the General Store in town. Homer Bedloe was the �villain� and who attempted to shutdown the Cannonball which Kate objects.
