First Wave was premiered on the 9th of September 1998 and ended on the 28th of February 2001. It was a Canadian/American TV Show and was created by Chris Brancato. It was cancelled once the contract expired because of the disappointing ratings. The show was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The series follows the life of a former thief named Cade Foster who discovers that he was part of an experiment done by alien race called Gua. There are 117 test subjects and Cade was the only one who fights back and others committed suicide. With the help of a paranoid genius known as Crazy Eddie he finds the last book of Notradamus of which predicts the destruction of Earth in three waves and they investigates weird events in line with the prediction as the first wave is in motion.
