Route 66 DVD

Route 66 was premiered on the 1st of October 1960 and lasted on the 1st of March 1964. The series has four seasons with 116 episodes. It was an American dramatic television series created by Stirling Silliphant and directed by Arthur Hiller and George Sherman.

The series was about two young men namely Tod Stiles and Buz Murdock portrayed by Martin Milner and George Maharis, travelled across America. The two drive around working at odd jobs, help people and search for new adventures. It was said to be the first television series who was set on different state locations and not in studios and it was best known for its ironic Corvette convertible plus its intrumental theme song.
